We all get ourselves into a bit of a style rut at times — and that can really feel like a confidence killer, especially when we don’t look or feel our best. We’ve all been there before, and sometimes we don’t quite know how to lift our spirits.

Well, I believe revamping your style and trying new things can be just the tonic, and it is easier to do than you would have thought. In this post, I’m sharing a quick guide to help you do it. Read on for more.

Try new hair and makeup styles

One of the first things you might want to try is changing up your hair and makeup! Even just the slightest twist can make all the difference sometimes. Find a new hairstyle on Pinterest and give it a shot, or introduce a new beauty product into your makeup routine — like adding a bold lip color, for instance!

have fun with your accessories

We all have our go-to accessories — like the same jewelry we reach for every day. But try stepping out of your comfort zone and incorporating something new! Maybe it’s adding the perfect middle lip ring or getting a second (or third) piercing. If that’s too bold for now, then reach for a statement necklace or a bold bracelet instead. Accessories include the bags and shoes as well — which means the options are endless.

CREATE a capsule wardrobe and build on it

Creating a capsule wardrobe is one of the easiest ways for anyone to always have something to wear. But sometimes, you just need to add some spice to make things more interesting. Play with texture, materials and colors, and don’t be afraid to mix things up to create different oufits.

Try colors that suit your skin tone

I’ve been seeing a lot of people going to color specialists to find out what colors suit their skin tones best and think it’s such a great way to gain a new perspective when it comes to embracing new styles. Perhaps you’ll discover that warmer shades actually brighten your skin tone up — I imagine that being a mood booster, too.

I hope this post inspires you and gives you the confidence to revamp your style in 2024! As always, thank you for stopping by Happily Ever Style.
