3 elegant dresses that brides-to-be can wear again (and again) after "I do"

One of many things that I wish I had thought about when I got engaged 5 years ago was to find and pick out dresses that I would actually be able to re-wear again later on, after all the celebratory events like the civil ceremony, rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party, etc.

So if you’re like the “current me” who would prefer to make good use of the pieces you invest in, read on for 3 great options.

This made-to-order brand from Turin, Italy is known for capes and blazers but their selection of elegant dresses equally stands out.

One of my favorites is the classic fit-and-flare Cherrie Dress in cream. The attached belt cinches at the waist which is very flattering, and the ruffle details at the collar and shoulders are simply beautiful.

I think this dress makes a great choice for civil ceremonies, less formal rehearsal dinners, and pre-wedding family dinners. Later on, pair it with nude pumps to wear to work or dress it down with sneakers for a casual weekend look. In fact, if you open up all of the buttons, the dress can be styled as a vest over a simple t-shirt and jeans, too!

Alternatively, the Rebecca Vest Dress is also a great choice!

Wear the dress with nude pumps for the office. These comfortable vegan leather heels are from Veerah; use promo code WARRIORTRICIA for 10% off your order.

White linen dress in Santorini.JPG

This easy-to-wear white linen dress by Whimsy and Row is a great choice for casual pre-celebrations, bridal showers — and later, wear it on your honeymoon!

Especially if your events will be in the summer or somewhere warm, linen is always a good idea. No embarrassing sweat stains!

Linen is so good for your skin and the environment, too. It’s perfect for really hot weather because it absorbs moisture while also being anti-bacterial.Photos by Kimonas Patiniotis.

Thanks to the dramatic ruching detail on the bodice, this organic cotton dress can easily be dressed up or down.

Fitted in the bodice with a full skirt, the silhouette is classic and timeless. It can be a casual daytime outfit during your bachelorette weekend, a morning-after-wedding brunch outfit, or a cover-up at the beach.

The dress also comes with removable spaghetti straps which is almost the main reason why I love the piece even more!
