The 6 most comfortable pairs of shoes I own that you should have on your radar

I used to spend a lot of my savings on beautiful, beautiful shoes that just ended up making my feet oh-so-ugly. Blisters, cuts, bruises — if you’re a woman, I’m sure you can relate. In fact, I had a few pairs of designer heels that were barely wearable; they were displayed on my shelf for a few years before I eventually decided to sell them.

When I turned 30, one of my goals for myself was to stop being impractical. When I choose to invest in a “good” pair of shoes, they can no longer just be aesthetically pleasing but they must be comfortable. It sounds like a “duh” kind of thing to say and I have no idea why it took me 3 decades to admit I had been so wasteful. But still, better late than never, right?

While all of the shoes currently in my closet are very wearable, there are a few pairs that are particularly comfortable. In this post, I’m sharing my top 6 — scroll down to see where they’re from.

The EDA Sneaker by Freda Salvador

This is actually my second pair of the EDA sneaker. Made in Spain, my first pair is plain white and I wore it almost every day for 2 years. This pair as seen here is more unique and features an embossed croc leather in a sandy neutral tone.

The leather is indeed a little stiffer at first, but once I wore the sneaker with thick socks on to stretch them out (just for 10 to 15 minutes at home), they soon went from being strangers to becoming my BFF. They’re so reliable and so easy to slip on.

Here are a few more looks with the sneakers in both colors:

Veerah nude heels

The Frida Vegan Leather Pumps by Veerah

From New York, Veerah is an Asian American women-owned shoe brand that specializes in vegan leather footwear that is sustainably and ethically made.

I’ve owned several nude pumps over the years because I see them as a closet essential, and Frida is by far the most comfortable pair that I’ve ever worn. I didn’t need to break them in at all; the memory foam insoles made the heels soft and comfy to walk on.

Not exactly related to comfort but Veerah also offers a variety of shoe accessories — including reversible ankle straps and clip-on jewelry — that allows you to easily create different looks with the same pair of heels. The thoughtful options further maximize the wearability of an already versatile pair of nude heels, and to me, that is a huge bonus reason for loving the brand even more!

Pink Booties.jpg

The Cleo Nappa Leather Booties by Daniella Shevel

Daniella Shevel designs the most stylish shoes and I personally own 3 pairs of booties from this brand already!

Made in Italy, the Cleo boot features square toes and low heels, making the pair extremely easy to walk in. The leather is ultra-soft and durable; even the hand-threaded laces are made of fine Italian Nappa leather.

Cleo is actually the sister style of the brand’s most iconic BellaDonna boot which comes in higher heels; they are also available in several beautiful shades.

Check out some of the ways I’ve styled the black and white pair of the BellaMia pull-on boots, also by the same designer. The brand also just dropped new styles that I’ve been eyeing — if you prefer boots without laces, you have to check out the latest collection.

The Carolina T-strap Heels by Bella Belle Shoes

If you’re looking for evening heels to wear for special occasions, Bella Belle Shoes is the place to search! The brand has a wide range of beautiful and elegant heels (and flats) that are all very comfortable to walk in.

This pair that features a pearl t-strap design is one of my favorites. It’s perfect for brides, too; after the wedding day, you can wear it with anything. I have a lot of light-colored pants and skirts so I like pairing them with white shoes.

Another pair that I’m obsessed with is called Olivia; I have the same style in both black and white — as seen below — which tells you how much I like the pair. The ribbon is removable which is really nice, too.

The Infinity Glide Sneakers by AVRE

These sustainably-made, eco-friendly sneakers are made of a stretchy knit material in a sleek slip-on design and the sole is very well-cushioned, offering comfort to your feet in more ways than you can imagine!

I’ve been wearing this pair for my daily walks and when I run errands; I’ve actually worn it for a few easy hikes, too. The sizes do run big so if you’re in-between sizes, consider sizing down!

The Mara Ballet Flat by Italeau

Handmade in Italy with waterproof leather, this pair of everyday flats that goes with everything in my closet is comfortable thanks to its soft suede and cushioned memory foam insole. The side elastics also contributed to the level of comfort.

I also love the almond toe design because although pointy toes are more flattering, they are usually less comfortable since I have wider feet. So this is the next best thing, in my opinion.

There are a lot of colors to choose from, too; many of them are perfect for spring and summer!

All of these brands believe no one needs to sacrifice comfort for style — and I love that I don’t have to pick one over the other. What are some other brands that produce ultra-comfortable and stylish shoes? Share them with me by leaving a comment below — I’d love to check them out!

If you have any sizing questions, feel free to ask away, too.
