I tried 3 different baby carriers from 3 different brands and this is what I think

One day, I was pregnant, and then all of a sudden, my baby turned one year old. If you’re a parent, I’m sure you can relate. Time seems to function differently when you have a child.

Well, now that I’ve been a parent for a little over a year, I can finally share my thoughts on one of the things I’ve used on a daily basis: a baby carrier. I actually have 3 different carriers from 3 different brands and in this post, I’m sharing my thoughts on each of them. Read on for more.

The Zeitgeist Tweed Cotton Carrier by ARTIPOPPE

This carrier from ARTIPOPPE is definitely the most stylish one I own. It looks good with all my outfits and I feel very chic wearing it. In fact, I think ARTIPOPPE’s carriers are the most fashionable you can find in the market.

When it comes to wearability, I love that I can easily put it on and strap my baby into it without additional help. The straps are soft and well-cushioned, so they feel comfortable on my shoulders.

I nicknamed this carrier “the napper” because my baby used to nap in it when we were on the go or traveling. Before my baby was sleep-trained, I actually sometimes used the carrier to rock him, too.

Overall, the carrier is truly wonderful. However, I think it works best when your baby is facing you. Which is why I use it less now because my baby now prefers to be carried facing outward so he can see better.

The Harmony Baby Carrier by BabyBjorn

So the Harmony by BabyBjorn is the most used carrier — mainly because my husband uses it, too! We use it so much that we decided to get a second one. So I guess I lied earlier when I said I have 3 carriers because it’s really 4.

Both my husband and I love this carrier because of the support we get on our lower backs. The straps are also very wide and sits comfortably on our shoulders. For me, I think it has a better design for carrying the baby facing forward than the ARTIPOPPE carrier. I feel like my baby is more secured and he seems more comfortable, too.

BabyBjorn’s Harmony is made with a mesh material which makes it great for using it in different seasons. The carrier comes in various colors and can be used till my baby is 3 years old.

The Baby Carrier by Sakura Bloom

Sakura Bloom makes their carriers in small batches in their San Diego workshop. They partner with local artisans and I love that about the brand.

The carrier is light and easy to pack into a backpack because it folds up easily without taking up much space. But I didn’t get to use this carrier as much as I wanted because it soon seemed to be too small for my baby (who was at 90 percentile for weight and height at 2 months old just for reference).

I like the carrier but I think because mine was made of linen, the fabric isn’t as soft on the edges of the loop hole where the legs come out. Like I wish there’s cushioning there, you know what I mean? I would find red marks cut into my baby’s thighs even though it’s only been 30 minutes of carrying him so I stopped using it.

I hope you find this brief review helpful! If you have any questions about the carriers I mentioned, leave a comment below or DM me via Instagram — I’m happy to support a fellow parent in any way I can.

As always, thank you for stopping by Happily Ever Style.

Love,
