Sweater Weather is Here: 1 Sweater, 3 Looks

I love fall, but what I really love is sweater weather!

The opportunity of being able to layer different pieces is, in my opinion, the real fun part of fashion, which is why I love the cooler seasons. Because that is when we get to be creative!

This season, Iโ€™ve been very into neutral, earthy tones and one of the pieces that I came across and immediately adored is this mock neck Willow Knit Sweater, available via Zemina Boutique. One of my favorite features of this sweater is the flared sleeves design.

In this post, I will be sharing how I styled the piece in 3 different ways.

Look 1: A Matching Set

In the first look, Iโ€™ve paired it with the matching Willow Knit Pants. I love how comfortable yet chic the outfit turned out to be. It was the perfect look for running errands or grabbing a casual weekend brunch with the hubby. The contrasting yellow stripe design on the side that runs from the sweater down to the pants is a fun detail and a great pop of color. I kept the overall outfit casual by pairing it with white sneakers.

Look 2: Knot It Over a Dress

This is more of a copy-cat move on my part; when I first saw The Zoe Report Site Director Lauren Caruso from @laurencaruso_ knotted her sweater over her shoulders, I thought to myself: โ€œIโ€™m doing this next time, too.โ€

Iโ€™m a fan of mixing different textures, so I naturally adored the combination of the chunky knit sweater and the soft and flowing ruffled Ana Tiered Midi Dress. And also โ€” the leather from my cream boots! For even colder months, I would likely try adding a jacket over the dress before knotting the sweater over my shoulders.

Look 3: Pair It with Animal Prints

Leopard or snake skin prints are some of the animal prints I like to wear because they often pair well with neutral tones. For this third outfit, I wore the sweater over the Lola Snake Print Midi Skirt and added a white leather belt over the sweater to define my waistline so it doesnโ€™t get lost in the sweater.
