How to Complete a Rosy Look with 3 Products in 5 Minutes

I've been obsessing over rosy makeup looks lately, and have tried numerous products on myself to find what works best for my skin tone and skin type. For me, it is important to get that dewy glow on my dry cheeks and to keep the look clean and natural.

The past week or so, I found myself sticking to the same products to achieve a rosy look (which only takes 5 minutes to do, by the way), so I wanted to share them with you!

Product No. 1: Glossier's Lidstar

When Glossier introduced the Lidstars early March, I got really excited and went online to order a duo set the minute they became available. The reasons were simple: the cute, innovative packaging, a range of 6 beautiful shades, ... and simply because I love Glossier.

The color I've been using for this look is called Slip. The creamy formula gives my eyelids a subtle glittery shine and that rosy color I'm after. It's buildable, so you can go for one layer during the day, and pile on another layer (or two) for after-work hours. It doesn't smear and stays on throughout the day, and that is just amazing. When you're ready to take off the colors, a gentle swipe of an oil-based makeup remover takes care of it.

Product No. 2: Onomie's Boosting Lip + Cheek Stick

I recently received this product as a gift from Onomie's team. I didn't think much of it at first, except the packaging is adorable. And then I tried this hydrating stick that works as a blush and lip balm in Cruz Berry, and immediately fell in love with it!

I adore the product because firstly, I love multi-tasking products! And secondly, because it contains shea butter, so it hydrates my dry cheeks and gives them a good glow!

It technically counts as a skincare product, too (even better), thanks to all the healthy ingredients, like Cacay oil (nicknamed "superfood for skin") and Sunflower Seed Oil. They both have Vitamin E that helps with smoothing fine lines and improving skin's texture.

I use my fingers to apply the color to my cheeks so I have better control over the intensity of it. I also put a little on my nose for an "I'm-blushing" effect. When I'm out without lipstick and need some color, I dab some to my lips for a healthier look.

Product No. 3: Chanel's Rouge Coco Gloss

My lips dry easily so I avoid products that further dry out my lips. This collection of glosses from Chanel is great because they are designed to be moisturizing! The formula contains coconut oil, leaving my lips looking smooth and plump. It's also non-sticky, which is a big bonus for me. The color I use to complete my rosy makeup look is #716 Caramel.
