It's almost Valentine's Day!
This year, I'm getting ready for Valentine's Day with Chanel Beauty. I want to make sure I look romantic and smell beautiful. But what for? And for whom? I can tell you now, it's not my husband. Watch the video to find out:
My Valentine's Day look contains three key elements:
A Romantic Look
No color says "Be My Valentine" better than red. So I'm placing emphasis on that one color and toning everything else down to keep the overall look clean. In the video, I used Rouge Coco Lip Blush in No. 416 Teasing Pink on my cheekbones a great product that works wonders on both your lips and your cheeks, and on my lips is the Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Color in No. 57 Rouge Feu.
A Beautiful Scent
Did you know that before creating the House of Chanel, Coco was Gabrielle? The Gabrielle Chanel Eau de Parfum was inspired by a rebel-at-heart, youthful and passionate side of her, and crafted by Olivier Polge as an imaginary flower.
Think of it as a spray of a bouquet with beautiful white flowers. The fragrance consists of Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Orange Blossom and Grasse Tuberose, featuring a fresh and sparkling scent with a touch of fruity green notes. There's a great balance between the four notes, and the balance is reflected in the design of the squared, golden bottle — so delicate and simply beautiful.
A Soft Touch
Would you feel pretty when your hands are dry and rough?
I am a big hand lotion user, especially in the winter. So trust me when I say: Chanel's La Creme Main hand cream is on the TOP of my list. It absorbs so quickly into the skin without leaving your hands feeling sticky or greasy. And I mean, just look at the packaging. It's the most adorable design ever! Just imagine how chic it looks when you take it out your bag.
Different from most hand moisturizers, this product is also designed to brighten. I sometimes cut myself from cooking (don't ask), so I was very happy to learn that this hand cream helps to diminish the appearance of dark spots! Perhaps this way my hands won't age as quickly as it would've (*grins*)!

Skin Type: Combination skin with an oily T-zone area (forehead and nose). Changes in climate, diet and/or lack of sleep irritates skin and causes inflammation, which then leads to large pores. High moisture level required on dry cheeks.
